A Special Event: Firsthand Experience with Fascism
We'll be gathering to hear firsthand what it's like to live in a fascist country, and what we collectively can do to block fascism in our own country. Join Indivisible Calais at the Maple Corner Community Center on Monday, September 15, 7:00 to 8:30 pm to hear what the future could hold if we don’t fight back NOW!
First, Eileen Simpson, local Calais resident, will speak to us about her experiences and answer questions.
Then, we’ll introduce you to the One Million Rising training, a national grassroots effort to swell the ranks of Americans working to save our democracy.

Postcard Writing Party

Labor Day Actions
The big show on Labor Day will be at the Burlington waterfront from 1:00 till 6:00 PM. We are encouraging everyone to support our union brothers and sisters and go to Burlington! But we know not everyone can get to the Queen City, so we're having a mini-rally at the Statehouse in Montpelier from 11 to 11:30 AM. Join the Solidarity Singers for a half hour of singing and chanting as a send-off for those who are going up to B-ton. If you need a ride, we'll make an announcement and see who has extra room in their cars.

The Sweetness of Fair Sparrow Concert

Stop Trump's Tyranny!
Once again, this is part of a national day of action, solidarity with the Democrat members of the Texas House who have fled the state to deny the quorum the GOP needs to redistrict Texas --and STEAL FIVE CONGRESSIONAL SEATS! Make no mistake, this is what Donald Trump wants to cement his authoritarian control over Congress.

Stop the Fascist Takeover!
One of two important Honk and Waves. We will be joining patriots nationwide who are aghast that Trump has unleashed national troops on the streets of Washington DC.
